The Accuracy International ASR Deployment Kit is the direct result of USSOCOM's search for their next precision weapon dubbed the Advance Sniper Rifle or ASR. The government’s solicitation for this new rifle laid out several strict features and specifications of what will become the ASR. Unless Accuracy International has been secretly developing a new weapon system for the ASR solicitation (very unlikely) – the base rifle for AI's submission will be their flagship rifle the AXMC.
The AXMC is a multi-caliber bolt action rifle designed by Accuracy International and is considered one of the finest precision rifles available to both military and civilians. The action is AI’s own 6 lug, 60° bolt with combat proven leaf spring extractor. The AXMC’s unique Quickloc caliber conversion system allows the user to change the caliber of the rifle within minutes using just one torque wrench tool. The AXMC also comes outfitted with a 16” octagonal forend that features a 30 MOA full length top Picatinny rail, KeyMod attachment points on all faces (except the 12 o’clock), and flush cup accessory rails. The buttstock is right side foldable with adjustable checkpiece and length of pull. The buttstock is also configured to accept monopods or butt spikes for prone shooting and features flush cup attachment points for slings.
The ASR Deployment Kit is a limited edition special offer from Accuracy International that mimics the company’s submission to USSOCOM for the ASR solicitation. Not only does it meet the requirements set by the government for the ASR program but it also includes everything the ASR would need to enter deployment with Special Operations units.
