It's made for putting high power riflescope over flattop style ArmaLite Rifle-15. This mount is built for 30mm rings.

American Defense AD-RECON-X Mount is precision machined from 6061 T6 aluminum. This mount comes with hard coat T3 Mil-Spec anodized finishing. ADM has incorporated Patented QD Auto Lock Lever system to the mount for accomodating both in spec and out of spec rail systems.
