The Geissele ALG Defense El Corto is a 5.56 NATO short barrel rifle with an 11.5-inch barrel, finished in black. This Geissele 08-530B-SBR NFA-regulated firearm features high-quality construction with precision-machined 7075 aluminum receivers and a hard chrome-plated barrel for durability. It includes a Geissele 17-4 PH stainless steel gas block, an A2 flash hider, and a Super 42 Braided Wire Buffer Spring for enhanced reliability. The rifle is also equipped with a Warner and Swasey 3MOA red dot sight with integrated back-up iron sights for added versatility.

Geissele Automatics offers the ALG Defense El Corto, a top-tier Mil-Spec SBR at an exceptional value. This rifle features upper and lower receivers crafted from high-quality domestically sourced 7075 aluminum billets. These billets are heat-treated to around 1,000°F and shaped using a 1,100-ton forge press. The receivers are then precisely machined on a CNC horizontal machining center and finished with a durable Mil-Spec Type 3 black anodized hardcoat.

The Geissele ALG Defense El Corto Rifle boasts an 11.5-inch premium barrel with a button rifled, hard chrome-plated surface for superior corrosion and wear resistance. It is topped with an A2 flash hider and paired with a Geissele 17-4 PH stainless steel gas block and an extended carbine-length gas tube, ensuring long-lasting performance and accuracy even under high rates of fire.

Equipped with Geissele’s Super 42 Braided Wire Buffer Spring, the El Corto offers enhanced reliability. This innovative spring design, inspired by the German MG42 Machinegun, features three independent strands of wire that flex separately to absorb energy and reduce spring failure, providing a return force about 15% stronger than standard springs. This improvement enhances the rifle's ability to function reliably, even with dirty conditions or steel case ammunition.

The rifle is also fitted with a Warner and Swasey 3MOA red dot sight, featuring integrated back-up iron sights. This setup ensures quick access to iron sights if the optic is disabled, eliminating the need for a separate BUIS set. El Corto is a complete pistol system with an included sling and a Warner & Swasey red dot sight.
