Once the P320 Fire Control Unit is installed, the BWC-9 becomes a short barreled rifle, requiring proper Form 1 paperwork for ownership.

Deploying the B&T BWC-9 involves a single swift movement, and folding it back requires a series of steps including partially removing the magazine, folding the grip and magazine forward, and lifting the "cheek piece" to fold the entire weapon.
