This Barrett REC7 5.56 Nato rifle features a black receiver, Barrett handguard, MagPul MOE 6-position stock, one piece piston and operating rod, two-position gas plug, reinforced enhanced piston bolt and extractor, anti-tilt bolt carrier, and a mil-spec A2 flash hider to protect the muzzle. Other features include a bolt from high-strength 9310 steel, 7075 aluminum type 3 class 2 hardcoat anodized upper and lower receivers with a cerakote finish, and a free-floated, hammer-forged, chrome-lined barrel with M4 feed ramps machined into the receiver and the barrel extension.
