Geissele brings AR performance to the next level with the URG-I Complete, Near Clone Upper Receiver. This upper receiver is up to specifications with those used by the USASOC, and comes packed with Geissele exclusive features and technologies. One of its more notable features is Geissele’s own Reliability Enhanced Bolt Carrier Group. This BCG is Nanoweapon coated and features a gas key that’s been properly staked, torqued, and is lined with chrome. Adding to the Reliability Enhanced Bolt Carrier Group’s performance is a cam pin machined from H13 tool steel with a Nanoweapon coating for corrosion/wear resistance, and extended upper rails are included to provide greater stability and improve feeding reliability. Another feature of the Reliability Enhanced Bolt Carrier Group is its Stressproof Bolt, which is precision machined from Carpenter 158+ barstock – a material that is cleaner, has less impurities, and offers greater strength and fatigue resistance. Other features of this upper include a pinned and welded SureFire SF4P 4 Prong Flash Hider. This muzzle device can reduce visible muzzle flash by up to 99% when compared to a bare muzzle, and can also be used as a rock-solid mounting platform for SureFire’s SOCOM Fast-Attach Suppressors. In addition, the URG-I Complete, Near Clone Upper Receiver is equipped with a MK16 Super Modular Rail that’s been perfectly mated to the upper receiver to eliminate and risk of rail rotation. The MK16 rail runs the length of the receiver and fore-grip, and provides more than enough space for iron sights, red dots, scopes, and clip-on thermal/night vision devices.
