Maintaining the design of its predecessors, the R7 Mako CFc includes a closed-top slide that enhances strength and minimizes residue buildup, along with a hooded ejection port that directs gases and spent brass away from the optic.

The barrel configuration features a rear-positioned lug that reduces the unlock angle and barrel movement, significantly mitigating recoil.
