This innovative system is complemented by the UAR upper receiver, machined from Billet 7075-T6 certified aluminum and treated with a milspec Type3, Class2, Deep Black, Hardcoat Anodized finish.

The UAR upper features a proprietary bore, exceptionally smooth with an average roughness of only 16 micro inches. In contrast, standard bored or milled uppers often have roughness levels of 32-63 or higher. The result is significantly reduced bolt carrier friction, contributing to an overall smoother firearm operation.

The precision machining process also ensures that the barrel nut threads, bore, and barrel extension surfaces are perfectly concentric and perpendicular to the barrel and fixing assembly.
