The Rapid Engagement Precision Rifle (REPR) MKII is a high-performance rifle developed by LWRCI as part of their submission to the U.S. Army’s Compact Semi Auto Sniper System (CSASSS) Program. The REPR MKII is built around LWRCI’s patented Adjustable Gas Block and short-stroke gas piston operating system, which offers superior performance and adaptability.
The short-stroke gas piston operating system eliminates hot gasses from being vented into the receiver and bolt carrier, resulting in superior reliability and requiring less frequent cleaning compared to direct impingement rifles. The Adjustable Gas Block allows for a high degree of adaptability, with a 20-position adjustment range that enables the rifle to be fine-tuned to the shooter’s ammunition preferences, use with a suppressor, and firing in adverse conditions.
The REPR MKII’s accuracy is truly outstanding, with Sub-MOA level precision at long ranges. The Geissele SSA-E 2-stage trigger provides a smooth pull with light take-up and a clean break, contributing to the rifle's accuracy. Another accuracy-enhancing feature is the included Magpul PRS Gen3 stock, which can be adjusted to the shooter’s desired length of pull and cheek height without the use of tools.
Other features of the REPR MKII include a proprietary non-reciprocating side charging handle for easier operation, an Ultra Static 4-port muzzle brake that tames barrel jump and felt recoil, and a full-length Picatinny rail for use with optics. The LWRCI Skirmish iron sights are also included, providing a close-range aiming solution.
