The LWRCI Rapid Engagement Precision Rifle (REPR) MKII was developed as a submission to the U.S. Army's Compact Semi Auto Sniper System (CSASSS) Program. The REPR MKII's unique features include LWRCI's patented Adjustable Gas Block and short-stroke gas piston operating system. This gas system eliminates hot gasses being vented into the receiver and bolt carrier, resulting in superior reliability and a reduced cleaning regiment compared to direct impingement rifles. Additionally, the Adjustable Gas Block provides a high degree of adaptability, thanks to its 20-position adjustment range. This allows the rifle to be finely tuned to fit the shooter's ammunition preferences, use a suppressor, and adapt to adverse shooting conditions.

The REPR MKII's versatility and performance are complemented by its Sub-MOA level of accuracy. The rifle's Geissele SSA-E 2-stage trigger with reduced first and second-stage pull weights provides a smooth pull with a light take-up and a clean break, enhancing accuracy. The Magpul PRS Gen3 stock, which is included with the rifle, can be adjusted without tools to the shooter's desired length of pull and cheek height, further enhancing accuracy.

Other features of the REPR MKII include an Ultra Static 4-port muzzle brake that reduces barrel jump and felt recoil, and a full-length Picatinny rail for optics. The rifle is finished with a Proof Research Carbon Fiber Barrel that delivers the same level of accuracy as a steel barrel with significantly less weight.
