Meprolight’s microRDS provides a versatile aiming solution for most handguns. It features a unique mounting system that uses the rear sight dovetail to secure the microRDS adapter. This adapter functions as both a Picatinny rail and incorporates a backup iron sight, featuring the Meprolight Tru-Dot self-illuminated sight. The microRDS attaches via a quick-detach mount and can be removed and reattached without the need to re-zero the optic. In addition to being an excellent pistol optic, the microRDS is also well suited for use on shotguns or as a backup sight for magnified optics on rifles.
