Drawing inspiration from AR platforms, the MINI FIX incorporates ambidextrous controls, such as the selector switch and magazine release, conveniently located in familiar positions. The AR-style grip provides ergonomic comfort, and compatibility with AR magazines gives users the option of extended capacity. These similarities create a seamless shooting experience for those already acquainted with AR pattern rifles.

Built around a lightweight, monolithic, one-piece aluminum receiver, the MINI FIX offers exceptional rigidity. Unlike chassis firearms where the bolt locks into a heavy steel receiver, the FIX's bolt locks into the barrel, a design element shared with AR platforms. This unique feature allows for easy barrel interchangeability, enabling users to switch calibers and barrel lengths without the need for a gunsmith. Additionally, the modular nature of the MINI FIX allows for interchangeable components such as stocks, bolts, and handguards, further enhancing customization possibilities. To streamline maintenance and part swapping, the MINI FIX exclusively uses T-25 screws, requiring only one wrench for disassembly.
