The Sig Sauer M17 CSS 9mm Optic Ready Coyote Pistol M17-9-CSS-MS is a civilian version of the U.S. Army's M17 sidearm, based on the P320 platform. It features a full-size frame with a 4.7-inch barrel and a coyote-tan PVD-coated stainless steel slide. The slide is optic-ready, compatible with the ROMEO-M17 red dot sight, and includes a removable night sight rear plate with a SIGLITE front night sight. The Sig Sauer M17-9-CSS-MS pistol is striker-fired with a curved trigger and comes equipped with a manual safety.
Following one of the most rigorous and competitive evaluation processes in U.S. military firearms history, the SIG SAUER M17 was selected as the official sidearm of the U.S. Army under the Modular Handgun System (MHS) program. Built on the proven P320 platform, the Sig Sauer M17 Pistol was chosen for its groundbreaking modularity, exceptional performance, and unmatched adaptability in the field.
The commercial version of the Sig Sauer M17 Pistol stays true to the military-issued model, offering civilian users a nearly identical experience. Chambered in 9mm and striker-fired, the M17 includes one 17-round magazine and two 21-round extended magazines. It features a coyote-tan PVD-coated stainless steel slide, fully compatible with the ROMEO-M17 red dot optic, and black controls—mirroring the Army's configuration.
Equipped with a SIGLITE front night sight and a removable rear night sight plate, the M17 ensures reliable target acquisition in low-light conditions. The coyote-tan carry-length grip module is available in three sizes for a customizable fit, and the pistol is offered with or without a manual safety to suit different preferences.
