Swarovski Ballistic Reticle Rifle Scopes
To promote precision and long-range accuracy, Swarovski Optik has revamped its Swarovski ballistic reticle rifle scope lineup and developed three ballistic reticles: the BRT, BRX, and BRH. They highlight the importance of knowing the accurate distance to the target for the shooter. The shooter can do that with the help of a laser rangefinder, too, but these reticles are useful nonetheless.
The long-range Swarovski BRT Reticle is tailor-made for AR platform rifles and suitable for 3 gun competitions. It is found only in the Swarovski Z6 1-6x24 rifle scope and calls for true 1X magnification to facilitate fast acquisition of the target. Also, it allows the user to keep both eyes open for close shooting. The reticle is further complemented with an illuminated Dot option (available in the Z6i scope) to help in intuitive, rapid aiming.
While the BRT reticle encourages precise shooting out to 500 meters, scopes with the BRH/BRX reticle come with ballistic solutions for 50 varying trajectories. The latter is categorically built for use with various calibers and conditions. It lends the user the power to measure the distance of objects with a recognized size and accurate holdover for trajectory compensation and also has an exact estimation for wind drift.
