Chassis
Designed for 5- or 10-round AICS magazines (Rem 700 LA uses CIP-length AICS magazines, Badger M2008 version uses AI AW 10-round double stack magazines)
Tikka chassis have V-Bedding; Rem 700 chassis have Radius system. Both are CNC’d into aluminum backbone.
Hardened stainless steel recoil lug
Rem 700 chassis can accommodate larger aftermarket recoil lugs
Will accept any barrel contour up to 1.25” straight cylinder (no larger than .9” at the muzzle recommended)
Trigger Guard/Mag catch
Made of reinforced polymer (Tikka T3 chassis has aluminum)
Will accept stock Tikka T3 triggers or Barnard triggers
Rem 700 chassis will accept the new x-mark triggers and most aftermarket triggers
Mag catch is low profile to reduce snags but still provides excellent ergonomics and control
Magazines Used
Remington 700 short action and Tikka T3 use AICS either 5 or 10 round .308 mags
Remington 700 long action and Badger M2008/13 long action use .338 CIP length magazines
Magazines are not included
Folding Mechanism
Main latch uses lever style lockup with tapered design which allows lockup through wear of the system
Secondary latch locks the buttstock into the folded position
Latch components are made of hardened stainless steel and nitride high strength chromoly steel.
Cheekpiece
Infinitely adjustable within cheekpiece range (1” travel)
Quickly removed and re-installed using a clamp and thumbscrew design
Simple feature allows the cheekpiece to return it to the exact height it had been set
Made of polymer
Buttstock
Length of pull is between 13.3” to 15.3” depending on version
Length of pull is adjustable in 1/4” increments for a total of 2” adjustment
CNC milled from billet aluminum
Buttpad moves vertically to set positions within range
Buttpad has tool-less adjustments
Buttpad can tilt 15° to each side
Mounting features
Buttstock has QD sling mount on each side
Harris bipod stud is included on the forend
All stocks come with one MOE L2 and MOE L3 rail
Materials
Most Aluminum parts are Type III hard anodized
Fasteners are stainless steel with black oxide coating
Steel parts are salt bath nitrided or stainless steel
Grip panels are injection molded reinforced polymer
